Range of application

The TBxpert is ideally suited for measuring turbocharger core assemblies in 2 planes. They are conceived for use in research and development, in prototype shops and small batch production.

Unbalance correction is made manually by removal of material (e.g. by grinding or milling).

Design

In this single unit balancing machine design, all components are combined in one rugged housing. Therefore the machine requires very little floor space for installation. The CAB 950 Turbo measuring unit with touch screen monitor with the virtual keyboard is specially designed for high-speed balancing. The measured values can be displayed in a vector format or in large, easy-to-read numbers. The middle part of the machine accommodates the balancing unit with adapter ring, surrounded by an enclosure to protect the operator in the case of a bursting rotor.
