Non-Contacting Displacement
Transducers
Transducers can accurately
measure relative shaft vibration, relative shaft displacement,
rotational speed or eccentricity of rotors in a variety of ranges
for optimum performance. These non-contacting units have a high
chemical and temperature resistance and are available in a variety
of configurations for trouble free installation. All transducers
are designed to meet API 670 and DIN 45 670 standards.

Non-Contacting Displacement
Transducers With Integrated Oscillator
The VIBRONECS non-contacting
displacement transducer integrates eddy-current probe, cable and
oscillator into a standard 3/8 threaded body to eliminate the need
for bulky external amplifiers and reduce cost. These high
precision units offer a measuring frequency range from DC - 10,000
Hz and can be directly connected to signal cables of over 3,000
feet in length.

Velocity Transducers
Velocity transducers provide superior accuracy
of absolute vibration measurements especially at lower
frequencies. These units can measure absolute bearing
vibrations from 1 to 2,000 Hz (when used with instruments with built-in frequency linearization) and
have a natural frequency near either 8 or 15 Hz. A
variety of designs are available for use in explosive
and hazardous areas, high temperature requirements and
underwater applications.
Other special features include: |
 |
• |
Easy connection - with no power supply and a high signal output voltage. |
|
• |
Industrial design - with a rugged, shock-resistant housing made of stainless steel, flexible steel conduit cable protection and low sensitivity for external magnetic fields. |
|
• |
Simple installation - with a center-mounted transducer and professional installation accessories. |

Accelerometers
Accelerometers offer a wide
frequency range for precision measurement of all relevant
mechanical vibration frequencies, detailed machine evaluation and
fault diagnostics. These units can provide simultaneous
measurement of rolling element bearings (BCU) and absolute
vibration parameters with a frequency range of 1 to 20,000 Hz.
Other special features include: |
 |
• |
Integrated charge amplifier - that can transmit signals over long distances. |
|
• |
Rugged housing - which is insulated, hermetically sealed and has temperature compensation. |
|
• |
Industrial design - to API 678 standards. |
