H1BK |

|
The HM1BK machine is a stand-alone workstation. The
workstation is comprised of a work table, machine base,
two-bearing pedestals, overslung belt drive, and CAB
measuring instrumentation. A negative load bearing, remote
bed mounted axial thrust bearing stand, and commissioning
and training are also included standard to meet your
turbocharger component balancing requirements.
Optional upgrades for the HM1BK include our air drive
system, electronic protractor feature, and printer
documentation system. |

110 MBRS |
 |
The 110 MBRS machine is
designed to balance assembled turbocharger cores at speeds
of up to 250,000 rpm. The machine features a compact design
with a centrally located work area and integrated safety
enclosure to protect the operator and surroundings during
the balancing process. Working in conjunction with the
110MBRS, the CAB 950 Instrumentation employs touch screen
technology and prompts the operator through the balancing
process in a user-friendly environment.
The high-speed capability of the 110 MBRS machine allows
operators to measure the unbalance throughout the entire
operating speed range of the turbocharger rather than simply
one single speed. Measuring throughout the entire speed
range, the unbalance correction is optimized for the entire
operating range of the core assembly and can be viewed as a
single unbalance correction (photos at left) for quick and easy
correction, thus reducing balancing time. With the
correction displayed in
terms of mass, and the standard electronic protractor
feature guiding the operator to the proper angular location
on the rotor for correction, there’s no guess work.
Material removal is accurate and
effective. For further detailed analysis a Bode or Nyquist
diagram can be displayed showing the amplitude versus speed.
Unbalance correction can be made directly in the 110MBRS
workstation with our optional hand grinder. Therefore,
transferring the assembly to a correction station is not
necessary. In addition, the optional printer documentation
system allows the operator to print unbalance reports, rotor
setup data, and full page graphics. Additional options
available. |
